(Gmajo) – In the title, for reasons of synthesis and immediate understanding, I used the verb “hack”in reality there is nothing particularly scientific or sophisticated in the simple operation that a joker, of suspected Reggio origin, carried out this morning to the detriment of the Lega B Facebook profile, on which the writing appeared, with some emoticons, “Parma is shit”.
Obviously he hadn’t gone mad, nor had he reggianizedthe communications manager of confindustria of the cadetteriaAlberto Monguidi, who explained to us how it was possible for the offensive phrase to appear on the organisation’s official social network.
“Do you know Wikipedia, where every user can make their contribution? The same also happens for Facebook, where it is possible to suggest a translation…”. In essence, FB accepts users’ advice and in this case, a witty person recommended the translation “Parma is shit”to the “Parma is back” proposed by Lega B.
It is a system bug of Facebook, which immediately publishes the proposed translations, subject to subsequent checks, but in the meantime the damage has been done…
So, by clicking on the “view translation” for some time this morning, the above phrase appeared and immediately went viral. A functionality, therefore, that of Facebook needs to be reviewed, because, as they who are specialists in the subject should know, a few seconds are enough to go around the world.
And so Lega B had nothing left to do but remove the post, eliminating the offensive translation at its root… Gabriele Majo
