It really was Fausto Baiguera to kill Julio Antonio Rosario Santos? The man, 36 years old of Dominican origin, was found dead in the street outside Baiguera’s house in Pavia, in the early hours of yesterday morning, Monday 6 May. The two they lived together occasionally: Baiguera, a 69-year-old retired man and owner of the house, occasionally hosted Santos for help with household chores. After a heated argument, the man admitted to hitting the boy and is currently accused of manslaughter. But the victim’s body he showed no signs of violence and Baiguera is from too small build for transporting him out of the house, where the body was found. Only the autopsy and the scientific department of the Carabinieri will be able to shed light on the case which, at the moment, seems like a mystery.
The confused words of the roommate, accused of murder
Baiguera lives in via Cremona, in the eastern area of Pavia, at the intersection with via Torello da Strada. The body of her occasional roommate, Julio Antonio Rosario Santos, a 36-year-old South American, was found dead outside the house, leaning against the gate. Some passers-by noticed him around 5 am on Monday 6 May and immediately called for help. The young man was dead and the police immediately contacted the owner of the house to find out more.
When Baiguera saw them enter he accused a slight illness, so much so that he was transported to the San Matteo polyclinic in Pavia. Once I was better, theinterrogation.
