What weather should we expect in the next few days? The update on the week’s weather is provided by Paolo Sottocorona, La7 meteorologist, during his daily appointment during Omnibus: “The general situation shows all these clouds affecting Italy, from north to south, then there is this serene channel that starts from Morocco, takes in the Iberian peninsula, partly France, England, Ireland, Scotland, so there is a separation. Immediately to the left, to the west over the Atlantic, a very large disturbance, from north to south, is thousands of kilometers long, it could reach Italy within two days, two and a half days normally, but it won’t.”

And so here is the weather forecast day by day: “Today, Tuesday 7 May, the rains will be mainly in the north and then on the northern Apennines, the Tuscan-Emilian one, with particular attention on the north-west part, where the phenomena can be, especially in Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta, very extensive and also very intense, while in the rest of the north and in the center there is some rain, but it is of decidedly lower intensity. In the south, some clouds arrive, but there is no mention of rain. Tomorrow, Wednesday 8 May, attenuation of these phenomena on average across the entire north, a thin line remains that starts from the Aosta Valley, from northern Piedmont, then crosses the entire Alpine and pre-Alpine area up to the north east, to Friuli Venezia Giulia , with some isolated phenomena of a certain consistency, otherwise they are weak phenomena. So compared to today, a marked improvement. In the centre, especially in Lazio, the southern part, partly in Abruzzo and then Campania, Sicily, with some phenomena, in the other regions yes still a bit gray weather, but in short there is no rain many, so they are quite concentrated. Then on Thursday 9th April very light rain remains in the north, otherwise there will also be large clearings, in the center only clearings, therefore clear and not very cloudy, in the south, especially Calabria and Sicily, still a bit uncertain weather with some rain, but rather weak. So over the three days it gets better and there are no signs that the weather will change in the following days.”
