Un pact of friendship Siculiana and Imola, signed by the mayors of the two municipalities Giuseppe Zscopio and Marco Panieri. A bond in the memory of Ayrton SennaBrazilian Formula 1 champion whose thirtieth anniversary of death was commemorated on May 1st by Imola.

The foundations of the friendship pact were laid during the visit to Imola of the mayor of Siculiana last March, during which Zaiuto visited the exhibition dedicated to Ayrton Senna at the San Domenico museum.
The bond between Ayrton Senna and Siculiana dates back to when the future champion’s ancestors left their land to undertake the journey to Brazil, as evidenced by some documents and told by journalists Giacinto Pipitone and Anna Restivo.
