Legnano – Il referendum against the cycle path in via XXIX Maggio is ready to enter the classroom. This evening at Palazzo Malinverni the second meeting of the City Council, where, moreover, the traders and residents of the street are also expected, invited by the minority councillors.

The “war” on cycle paths that the Radice administration is waging in the city is far from over, on the contrary, after that the majority had a first meeting with the citizens, on the evening of Thursday 2 May the minority forces gathered to relaunch their “no” and their referendum proposal against the draft project for route number 2 which will run along via XXIX Maggio in Legnano: a project strongly contested by residents and traders.

A question presented by the Fratelli d’Italia Group on the safety of cyclists, with a link to a motion. Two questions presented by the Citizens’ Movement, one on safety and one to advance the cycle path alternative.
