Cirelli joins the Board of Directors of Seta as a member from Modena. The coordination meeting of the mayors of the Modena municipalities that are members of Seta Spa met yesterday to identify the Modenese member for the Seta Board of Directors. Alberto Cirelli was appointed.
His renewal as president of the transport company should come soon. In recent days there had been internal friction within the Democratic Party when he was nominated by PD councilor Federica Venturelli, wanted by mayor Gian Carlo Muzzarelli. Stefano Ante is also competing for the position, pushed instead by Francesca Maletti.
Cirelli, 64 years old and outgoing president of Seta, was president of Confapi Emilia-Romagna, was a partner and member of the board of directors of Gep informatica srl, a company specialized in the development of integrated solutions for logistics and transport. He also has experience as a municipal councilor of Modena between 2019 and 2021, previously he was also President of the 4th city district.
The assembly of Seta’s Modenese public shareholders includes the Province of Modena and the 47 local municipalities and holds 25 percent of the share capital, while the remaining 25 percent belongs to the Municipality of Piacenza and the Act Consortium of Reggio Emilia. The remaining company shares, equal to 49.5 percent, are divided between Herm Srl and Tper Spa.
