At the Verdi theater the show dedicated to the Trieste artist Trieste, 6 May – With this initiative the Region wants to remember the figure of a great Trieste and Italian artist, who followed part of the twentieth century in the path that history has traced in this border land .
This is the concept expressed by the regional councilor for local authorities on the occasion of the presentation of the concert for Lelio Luttazzi, scheduled at the Verdi theater in Trieste for Thursday 9 May at 8 pm. In addition to the regional councilor, speakers included among others , also the municipal councilor for the Theaters of Trieste and the superintendent of Verdi Giuliano Polo.
As the representative of the regional council recalled, Luttazzi took his first steps in the musical environment in post-war Trieste still administered by the Anglo-American governorship and then continued his career with great success in Milan, but always maintaining and demonstrating, even artistically, a strong bond with his hometown, where it is no coincidence that he chose to spend the last part of his life.
Finally, the councilor highlighted how Luttazzi, right at the peak of his career, was the victim of a judicial misadventure, serving an unjust prison sentence. An episode that cost him dearly on a professional level. So remembering him today is also meant to be compensation for what he suffered due to an unfounded accusation.
