Clear defeat for the Leonesse in Bologna. It ends 3 to 0

Again a defeat for Brescia Calcio Femminile, who lose 3 to 0 against Bologna at the Bonarelli stadium in Granarolo in via Roma 38 in Granarolo dell’Emilia. The Lionesses are tenth in the standings, with 34 points (10 wins, 4 draws, 14 defeats).

Brescia was very close to scoring the opening goal as soon as the match began with the post hit by Brayda in the 1st minute. Hjohlman’s excellent cross from the right wing to Fracas in the 7th minute did not constitute a great danger for the rossoblu for whom Sassi intervened without fatigue.

Antolini in the 12th minute, in front of the goalkeeper, breaks the deadlock with a sharp shot that goes into the right corner following an assist from Gelmetti. In the 14th minute De Biase looked for the second goal with a parabolic shot from just outside the area that went just over the crossbar. Brescia scored in the 18th minute with a curling shot at the near post by Fracas from the top left of the area on which Sassi promptly intervened.

Brayda in the 20th minute from the edge of the area with a central shot forces Sassi to dive to block. The Bolognese goalkeeper was called upon again immediately afterwards to intervene on Magri’s shot, this time which was deflected for a corner. Tasselli intervenes in two stages on De Biase’s free kick in the 24th minute. De Biase from distance in the 27th minute with a strong and sharp shot that goes just over the crossbar almost doubles the score. Opportunity for Bologna in the 42nd minute with a central cross from Raggi from the left without, however, anyone in the area. Once the minute of injury time granted by Tropiano expired, the teams go to the locker rooms with the result 1 – 0 for the home team.

Gelmetti, just a few seconds after the restart, scores Bologna’s second goal with a shot from the edge of the area that swells the net at the far post. Brescia tries again immediately with an excellent central cross from Pasquali from the left which, however, finds no partner. Magri takes care of it in the 3rd minute with a shot that only finds the outside. Gelmetti scores a double in the 14th minute thanks to Gradisek’s recovery in midfield who throws it long for the Bolognese number 11 who, from just inside the area, swells the net at the far post.

In the 29th minute it was time for a double substitution for Bologna too: Farina and Gradisek out for Zanetti and Fuganti. Tasselli intervenes well in the 38th minute on Pinna’s header. Brescia’s final assault was of little use to at least score the goal in the 5th minute of added time. Pasquali’s cross in the 49th minute from the right for Menassi is intercepted by Sassi who clears it in the middle of the field and the match ends at 3 – 0 for the hosts.
