It is undoubtedly among the most loved drinks by the people of Bari and announces the achievement of an important milestone: Birra Peroni celebrates 100 years of activity in Bari.

Like San Nicola, focaccia, panzerotto and Bari, Peroni is also included in the list of indisputable passions that belong to being from Bari.

Since its arrival in the city in 1924, Birra Peroni has over time become a point of reference for the local economy and its iconic brand a symbol of union and tradition for the community. To celebrate this anniversary, always keeping an eye on the future, the company has planned a series of events during 2024, which will involve both the local community and its own people, and which will coincide with some of the most important events for the city.

The first event will be held on the occasion of the patronal feast of San Nicola: from 7 to 9 May, from 7.00 pm, at “El Chiringuito” it will be possible to participate in a real party that will also become an opportunity for new meetings, thanks to a fun activity that will bring the brand’s philosophy to life “If it unites us, it’s Peroni”. Furthermore, again on the occasion of Saint Nicholas, some of the Birra Peroni employees, who work in Bari between the factory and the sales force, will be engaged in a cleaning activity together with Legambiente during which they will collect the waste abandoned right along the Pier.
