LIVORNO – La Pielle effort (51-56 at 30′), waiting for a fourth period in which he stuns theAndrea Costa Imola (break of 28-13), winning the first act in the playoff quarter-finals (79-69).
Guys from coach Cardani visibly contracted at the start, but good at staying in Imola’s wake with many trips to the line. The bad evening for shooting, however, continues into the second quarter, Pielle almost never manages to find the way to the basket despite good construction and so the first part of the match ends with a score of 22-32 in favor of the guests ( 0/17 from 3 for the home team).
The music changes in the second half, Chiarini, captain Campori and Loschi play the charge but on the other hand Corcelli and his teammates make triple after triple of pure talent, even from sidereal distances.
We are at the dawn of a fourth quarter in which Pielle finally plays like Pielle and punishes Imola’s limited rotations. It ends 79-69, under the eyes of Rafael Addison, Claudio Bonaccorsi and Matteo Lanza.
