BOLZANO. Is called “Tornado” the most beautiful cat in the world. The red Maine Coon weighing over 10 kilos, who will be 8 years old in August, from a town near Vienna, has won the crown of undisputed king of theBolzano International Feline Exhibition. Elected on May 5th, he managed to remove the scepter from the paws of the Trentino champion Poldo.
“His long ear tufts, shaggy ruff and fur markings make him resemble a lion. His caring behavior towards little girls and kittens defines his gentle character. Tornado is a true cuddly bear, characterized by his availability towards people” he explained the breeder Jasmin Cerny from Austriaprecisely from Krems an der Donau. Tornado is a pet therapy specialist in Lower Austrian nursing homes and schools. And at the fair he did not go unnoticed, thousands of people, especially children attracted by his beauty and gentleness.
Characteristics also confirmed by the international jury composed of Tomoko Vlach (Japan), Kurt Vlach (Austria), Brigitta Redford (Germany) and the Italian Chiara De Luca. Professionals who, during the weekend, evaluated the aesthetic standards and beauty of each cat. By category: puppies, adults, entire or neuter.
The International Exhibition Felina “The most beautiful cats in the world”, branded ENFI Ente Nazionale Felinotecnica Italiana, brought the most beautiful specimens to the South Tyrolean city on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May. True champions of beauty.
Great success for the “Cat Room”, the protected area where visitors could come into contact with cats, to cuddle them, play with them and be overwhelmed by their purrs. Numerous breeds of cats present during the weekend: the nice ones Devon Rex, the giant Maine Coons and Norwegians, the naked Sphynx, but also the Ragdoll, which resemble rag dolls. And also Exotic, British and Scottish, a great party dedicated to the most loved pet of all time.
The event was organized by Club Felino Verona, under the aegis of ENFI – Ente Nazionale Felinotecnica italiana, in collaboration with Movimento Azzurro.
