«The task of reviewing the project for the new Andria hospital will be formalized by May 16th, in favor of the design group already engaged following the tender. In the following 90 days, i.e. by 16 August, the final project will be presented, accompanied by 75% of the verification and validation operations by ASSET. Finally, in the following 15 days, the missing part of verification and validation will be completed, useful for immediately launching the tender for the executive design and implementation of the works”. Statement by the President of the Regional Budget and Planning Commission Fabiano Amati at the end of a new hearing in the Region, this time in the presence of the ASL BT.
«These are the commitments undertaken by the General Management of ASL BAT, together with ASSET – explains Amati – With the filing of the definitive design it will also be possible to know in detail the new economic framework of the revised work, so as to promote the new program agreement for the financing of the work. As was done for the Foggia monoblock, in the case of the Andria hospital it will be possible to authorize the tender whilst waiting for the financing to be formalised. And all this to accelerate as much as possible and not to repeat the sensational delays of the past. The new hospital in Andria will be level II, as well as a trauma centre, as indicated in the regional hospital planning”.
