As per the calendar already announced by the Department of Quality of Life last March, with the spring-summer season the Urban Hygiene and Environment Service of the Municipality of Andria has started the disinfection, disinfestation and rodent control program for the year 2024 , organized by RTI Gial Plast – Si.Eco, which manages the Urban Hygiene Service in the city. In the days up to next May 9th, in particular, the operations relating to the Anti-wing Treatment will be carried out, which will be carried out from 11.30pm on the previous day to 6.00am on the days indicated (6-9 May).
The interventions will be carried out throughout the entire town centre, in the peripheral areas and in the hamlets of Montegrosso, Troianelli and Castel del Monte, with particular attention to schools and the areas adjacent to school buildings, public housing buildings, weekly markets, and peripheral areas bordering agricultural areas and ditches, as well as all areas bordering uncultivated lots, abandoned areas and the like. Citizens are advised to keep windows closed at night during treatment.
