A very rich program at the stand Liguria region to the Turin Book Fair (Liguria room, Oval pavilion-X53) scheduled from 9 to 13 May. “We will be protagonists having been invited as a guest region and the numbers speak clearly for the size of this edition: 500 titles that will be presented by our publishers, 37 publishers present and 36 panels organized in our stand which will recall a Ligurian village, whose The walls will be our books outside the stand – explained the culture coordinator of the Liguria Region Jessica Nicolini -. But there will also be illustrations by Jean Blanchaert which will tell the 100 faces of Liguria, all the excellences of Liguria that have made history or that today make the history of our region”.
There are three major events, the first of which is dedicated to Gino Paoli “which is already sold out – The second dedicated to Ligurian poets which will be recited by Elisabetta Pozzi and Federico Sanguineti and the third who will tell the story of Ligurian comedy starting from Paolo Villaggio with his daughter Elisabetta and the actor Enzo Paci”.
“It will be a further showcase for our territory – underlined the governor Giovanni Toti -. Obviously, in addition to the cultural offer, there will also be an offer of our food and wine, our history and our art which we will see in the walls of the houses surrounding an ideal agora in which to meet”.
An appointment to which the Ligurian publishers responded in a united manner as explained by Fabrizio De Ferrari, coordinator of the events of the “Sala Liguria” stand. “There are 37 of us and we have over 60 presentations divided into 32 events, so a truly rich and varied program and we have made ourselves felt strongly. There will be narrative events, but not only there will be a lot of art, dissemination, cuisine and it will be told the territory. There will be characters and therefore it will be a series of events that can meet the varied tastes of the Salone’s public, last year over 200 thousand attendees”.
