PESCARA. The latest project (in chronological order) of the brand, Palazzetto Toccaferro, has been inaugurated. This is the Group’s headquarters which includes offices, warehouses, a new Toccaferro and a training school.

Daniele Capperi, founder of Toccaferro, 40 years old, graduated in Business Economics, in nine years of work he created Fattoria Toccaferro which boasts four restaurants in Abruzzo, one in Rome and the sixth arriving in July also in Rome. Then there is Quebracho in Pescara, a spin-off that makes the customer’s experience its signature.



The new Palazzetto Toccaferro

“It all started in 2011 – said Capperi – with my first place the Link which then became the first Toccaferro in 2015, then I opened in 2017 in the center of Via Firenze and from that moment on I have never stopped. Today with Palazzetto Toccaferro I reach an important milestone for myself and for the entire Group”.

Tradition and quality products from this territory have been, since the beginning, the winning cards of the Toccaferro brand. This philosophy has pushed the Group to rely on a short and 0 km oriented supply chain, which guarantees the customer to find always fresh and controlled products with traditional flavors in every Toccaferro restaurant.

The Palazzetto Toccaferro located in via Falcone e Borsellino marks a new era for C. Lounge (the name of the company). Over 1000 square meters on 5 levels plus outdoor spaces and a large car park, all just a few meters away from where the brand came to life; the focus remains quality, authenticity and roots. “There are the management offices, – said the entrepreneur – a storage centre, a new Toccaferro with space dedicated to the little ones both inside and outside as there is in Città Sant’Angelo and Rome, an additional service dedicated to families and a terrace. A space also designed for my collaborators who work here in a welcoming and hyper-technological environment.” Yes, because another important aspect of Palazzetto Toccaferro is technology and innovation, everything here is managed by a home automation system to make customers and those who work there feel better.

Today the Group has 188 employees, 35 leading companies, 6 restaurants, 5 upcoming openings within the next two years and almost half a million seats per year.

“The headquarters -explained the entrepreneur- it will be the strategic fulcrum that allows for more effective management of the existing restaurant network and the planning and operation of future openings. It will be a place to learn new skills, perfect technique, evolve skills. In other words, where tradition is handed down but in an innovative way.”

The “Toccaferro Didattica” training project has the ambition of being recognized at a regional level as a professional training institute. The establishment of accredited cooking courses will be open both to those who aspire to pursue a career in the gastronomic sector and to those who wish to deepen their culinary skills out of passion. “The teaching part will begin in September – explained Capperi -, our training offer will range from basic courses to advanced programs, designed to train new generations of chefs, waitstaff, pizza chefs, bracisti and managerial positions in the horeca sector. And of course the continuous training of my collaborators which is the key to always maintaining the standard of excellence”.

Yesterday an important space was reserved for solidarity. Daniele Capperi has chosen to dedicate this milestone to his granddaughters Greta and Ginevra, born prematurely, and now healthy, thanks to the neonatal intensive care unit of the Santissima Annunziata Hospital in Chieti. “To express my gratitude to the medical staff, I decided to make a donation to the non-profit organization “Speranza Attiva” to support the department in purchasing the machinery essential to help babies born prematurely. The evening was an opportunity to invite all my guests to make a donation to the non-profit organization. This is the best gift they can give me to start this new and exciting adventure of mine together.”

Also present at the meeting were the mayor dCarlo Masci, Lorenzo Sighspresident of the Abruzzo Regional Council, iDiego Gazzolodirector of the neonatal intensive care unit and Denise Tomaiuolorepresentative of the non-profit organization.

After the ribbon cutting the party began with entertainment by the artists Vincenzo Olivieri and the Scena Muta group.
