Monday morning marked by queues and slowdowns along the ring roads of Brescia: two collisions, which occurred between 8 and 8.30 today (6 May), completely sent traffic on the main arteries connecting the city to the province into a tailspin.

But let’s go in order: kilometer-long queues have formed along the Eastern ring road, due to an accident that occurred in the Castenedolo area, near the Brescia Est toll booth of the A4 motorway. 4 vehicles and 5 people were involved in the crash – 4 men aged 36, 40, 47 and 71 and a 55-year-old woman – of which only one suffered minor trauma and injuries. The local police are on site for surveys and traffic management. There are queues from the Fascia d’Oro area to the Mazzano entrance to the SS45bis in the direction of Valle Sabbia.

Around 8.30, another accident occurred along the Western ring road, near the Brixia Forum, in the direction of Castel Mella: in this case too, 4 cars were involved in the collision. There were no serious injuries, but it was necessary to close one lane and inevitably queues formed which also affected the Southern ring road. Traffic management, as well as the reconstruction of the dynamics of the collision, was entrusted to the police officers local city police.
