Defeat for Fiorentina on the Verona pitch. The Viola, full of second lines ahead of Wednesday’s semi-final return match with Brugge, were beaten 2-1 at Bentegodi: Lazovic took the lead from a penalty, Castrovilli equalized and then Noslin scored the decisive goal in the second half.

Christensen 5: Together with Ranieri he makes the mistake that costs the penalty, bringing down Noslin. He remains motionless on the doubling goal.

Parisi 5.5: A little light in certain phases of the match, not fully convincing in the interpretation of the two phases.
López 5.5: The physicality of the Veronese midfield suffers a lot. From the 70th minute Mandragora 5.5: As soon as he entered he gets a yellow for a bludgeoning of Folorunsho.
Duncan 5.5: He enjoys more freedom than López but doesn’t have the same ability to move the ball around. From the 63rd minute Bonaventura 6: He gives greater quality than his partner.

Nzola 5.5: Works better for his teammates than in front of goal. He drives Ikoné twice who doesn’t take advantage of it, then serves the equalizer to Castrovilli. We didn’t see him in the second half until a high shot in the 83rd minute.
Italian 5: The usual defensive errors cost the disadvantage, Castrovilli deceives him. In the second half he was unable to reverse the trend and Verona, who seemed to be hungrier, took advantage of it.
