Ferrara, 6 May 2024 – During the argument turns out a gun. The weapon, fortunately a toy, was later found by the police who intervened on the spot to restore calm between the quarrels.
The contours are not yet clear of what happened at lunchtime on Saturday in via Palestro, the only certainty is that that discussion – particularly lively – created moments of high tension. It all happened around 1.30pm in the street that leads to Piazza Ariostea. Two people (an Italian and a foreigner) start arguing. During the altercation, according to some witnesses, the gun appears.
The man holding itAfter the threats, he tries to hit the other with the butt of the weapon but he reacts. A brief scuffle breaks out between the two, while in the meantime the alarm goes off to the police. When the military arrives on site they find one of the two people involved. The other will be identified shortly after, also thanks to the images of some cameras. The gun was also found (a toy, it was said, but without the red cap).
The contours what happened is still to be clarified although, from some leaked reconstructions, the origin of everything seems to be an attempted robbery which then transformed into a physical clash between the two. For now, however, we are still in the field of investigative hypotheses. It will be up to the Carabinieri to shed light and assess any responsibilities.
