The ceremony at the Red Cross headquarters in Legnano
Legnano – They were inaugurated this morning, May 5th, at the Red Cross headquarters in Legnano, in via Ragazzi del ’99, the furnishings of the two clinics in memory of Dr. Flavio Bison, thanks to a donation from Harley-Davidson Legnano and Legnano Chapter Italy, which recalls the Dr. Flavio Bison, General Medicine doctor in Legnano and with clinic in Arconate and Chapter member, torn from life at just 63 years old by Covid.
The two clinics are located at the end of the operational unit of the Legnano Red Cross, opened at the end of last year in via Ragazzi del ’99, former vehicle headquarters of the barracks in viale Cadorna, after leaving the historic headquarters in via Pontida. “Here we wanted to create a comfortable and functional operational center for our 600 members and volunteers, as well as a “house of all activities” – explain Andrea Ciocie, Administrative Manager of the Legnano Red Cross and Luca Roveda, President – our goal is in fact to want to create a hub for all the associations of Legnano”. In fact, in the same courtyard the new ProCiv headquarters and next to it is the CAS with 57 migrants.
“I chose to allocate the donation to the Italian Red Cross – says Ornella Cozzi, wife of Doctor Bison – so that the activity of my husband, a generous person who with sacrifice, courage and altruism has carried out his profession for over forty years, continues in these two new clinics. This was a choice of continuity, now his name will live forever.”
The two clinics, with the social help desk, the multipurpose hall and the depot for the distribution of food, they complete the multi-service reality of the new Red Cross headquarters.
