Pinuccio’s video on Striscia La Notizia

Long-abandoned warehouses in Ascoli Satriano full of industrial waste, “maybe even dangerous”underlines the Apulian correspondent of Striscia La Notizia Pinuccio in the report broadcast during yesterday’s episode 4 May (here is the video):

“Most likely they come from Campania, but we have never seen a situation like this”

The cameras of Antonio Ricci’s program entered two warehouses full of ecobales: “From the labels it is clear that they come from Sorrento and Caserta”.

The president of Coldiretti Mario De Matteo spoke to Pinuccio’s microphones: “The right term is eco-mafia, it’s a real emergency, waste that contributes to polluting our countryside, our products. We no longer know what to do. We ask for a task force to understand the racket behind it.”

“In this case the spill occurred during the commissioner’s period in the former abandoned Markart plant. The Noe Carabinieri had it seized and therefore the waste cannot be disposed of by anyone for the moment. Most likely those responsible have already been identified”, this in summary the comment of the mayor Vincenzo Sarcone.
