ACERRA – Many points of interest in the first lesson of the Sergio Mattarella political training school in Acerra, held in the Corso Garibaldi headquarters on May 2nd in the presence of bishop Antonio Di Donna and journalist Nando Santonastaso. At the center of the meeting, moderated by the director of Tablò Pasquale Sansone, is the fate of Europe between divides and solidarity.
Santonastaso outlined the international economic upheavals of recent years, between wars and pandemics, and the national problems linked to the birth rate and workforce decline. Monsignor Di Donna focused on a tired Europe, which holds young people in a vice on one side, but with cancel culture, it risks eradicating cultural and religious roots. The crisis of Western democracy also starts from here.
