Marsala – Afternoon of sport, aggregation and fun at the Pala San Carlo in Marsala which hosted the semi-finals valid for the “Under 17 men’s handball regional Final Four”.

Two matches of the highest technical and tactical level which provided a spectacle for the large audience present in the stands of the Lilybetan facility. In the first match, the most closely contested, Giovinetto Petrosino prevailed 36 to 34 against the highly rated Aretusa, a team that took to the field as the underdogs, having finished top of the table at the end of the regular season. It was a see-sawing match that saw a Petrosile-style start, the second part of the first half and the beginning of the second in the Aretusei’s favor and a hard-fought final decided by favorable episodes for coach Fiorino’s team.

In the second semi-final, the home team of Pallamano Marsala, who demonstrated the greatest technical caliber from start to finish, overcame the other team from Syracuse, Albatro, 37-32. A match never questioned by Di Giovanni and his teammates who immediately took control of the match, without ever allowing Martelli’s boys to get back into the game. First half closed ahead 18-11 and final with many young people on the field among the ranks of the locals, acclaimed by the friendly public.

Tomorrow afternoon at 4.30pm, the final which will award the bronze medal and, at 6.30pm, the grand final which will decide the regional champion team.
