a training course for operators

Salerno. Every day news of accidents at work highlights the need to strengthen not only safety control measures in the workplace, but above all the culture of safety. The Smil and Spsal Services of the ASL Salerno, as a supervisory body, are directly involved in the area, both in investigations for accidents and in investigations for occupational diseases.

The regulations for safety in the workplace, which are constantly evolving, require updating and coordination between bodies responsible for supervision in the workplace. For these reasons, the course entitled “Methodological guidelines for planning supervisory activities: monitoring and communication tools” with the aim of consolidating the training of SMIL/SPSAL service operators through the analysis of the control and monitoring systems of supervisory activities.

The opportunity to achieve this objective saw the participation, as ASL Salerno, in the national project – CCM Action / Ministry of Health – called “Training and monitoring path on worker safety in implementation of Article 5 of Legislative Decree 81 /08”. The topics are specific and related to the information flow portal, the Mal.Prof and Infor.mo surveillance systems, the Pre.Vi.S. system. for the detection of risk factors, and will be enriched by the testimony of interregional technical groups for good support practices. These methodologies are considered preparatory to the implementation and successful outcome of the programs of the Regional Prevention Plan having the workplace as their setting.
