Andos Udine is enriched with new energy. The assembly of the National Association of Women on Breast Surgery – Committee of Udine has in fact new board of directors elected who will remain in office until 2027: she was president Mariangela Fantin confirmed while his deputy, also a confirmation, is Donatella Nazzi. Also remaining among the ranks of councilors are Lorena Comodin, Ilenia Livieri, and Jessica Giorgiutti at the secretariat. Among the new entries, instead, Anna Carlone, Manuela Messere and Maria Del Rocio Sierra Cardozo.

In the association’s team, as external collaborators, there are also the lawyer Angelica Giancola (criminologist), the psychologist Luca Bennici, the psychologist Monica Martin. External consultants for the administrative-financial part are Studio Francesca Giusti and Studio Piccinato.

“I’m very honored and happy that I had the full trust of the Andos members – the Udine committee who, after 20 years, still want me as President – commented Fantin -. The newly formed working group is ready for new projects and activities. The Andos Odv, in addition to prevention activities, is attentive to the inclusion of women in its association activity, to the social and sporting initiatives that are activated during the year in order to support psychologically and physically women with surgery or those who wish to be part of this large family; “family” that also looks carefully at the social life of the new generations who are approaching volunteering. I wish us all good luck.”

Every year they turn to Andos in Udine more and more women have breast surgery and, unfortunately, increasingly younger. At the present time the membership of the association exceeds 900 members. The Udine team has been implementing various support initiatives for years: from psychological help, to nutritional advice and surgical and legal consultancy, from the organization of information and awareness events, even within schools, to the donation of wigs for women who have had breast surgery, tattoo of the breast areola.
