From Monday 6th to Sunday 19th May in Piazza Monte Grappa to Varese it will be possible, for those who haven’t done it yet, collect the bags for the separate waste collection for the year 2024.

The distribution point, which it is added to the one always active in the ecological platformIt will be open Monday to Friday from 11am to 7.30pm, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 1pm. To collect them, citizens must have a health card or tax code.

The distribution campaign includes different equipment depending on the areas of the city and the type of user and home. In particular, all the inhabitants of the center (Household utilities) will be able to collect the red bags for the residual dry waste, in addition to the rest of the equipment.

The non-domestic users from the whole city will be able to collect the red bags for residual dry waste. Alternatively, they can request them at this link. In any case, non-domestic users belonging to a condominium must equip themselves with their own equipment (bags or bins) and not dispose of dry waste in the condominium bins.

FROM MAY 20 ONWARDS THE KITS WILL BE COLLECTED ONLY FROM AN ECOLOGICAL PLATFORM

From 20 May it will continue to be possible to collect the kits, but only on the ecological platform (Monday to Friday from 1pm to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 12pm and from 1pm to 5pm, Sunday from 7am to 1pm).

«In April we started the monitoring and data collection campaign in view of the introduction of the punctual tariff next year – explains the councilor for environmental protection, social sustainability and circular economy of the Municipality of Varese Nicoletta San Martino – Waste not displayed correctly and marked with stickers, initially yellow and now red, have always been recovered either the day after exposure or at the next step. Before moving on to the phase of non-recovery of incorrect exposures, we want to give citizens a further opportunity to collect the equipment. In fact, we know that every innovation needs time to be adapted to daily habits and we want to accompany citizens in this transition”
