A 46 year old worker he died, shortly after midnight, in a work accident which occurred in the establishment of Brindisi sugar factory.

The man, originally from Latianwas employed for an external company in maintenance work on one of the plant conveyor belts.

For reasons under investigation, the 46-year-old remained stuck in the tape and had his arm amputated and died shortly after.

Sanitary workers intervened on site 118 who could not do anything other than note the death of the worker whose body was recovered by fire fighters of the provincial command of Brindisi. The task of reconstructing the dynamics of the accident is entrusted to State Police.
