Abbanoa’s works in Sassari.
Day of work on the water pipeline in Sassari and surrounding areas. For Tuesday May 7 the Abbanoa technicians have programmed three efficiency measures which will concern the water purification plant in Truncu Reale, the supply pipeline in via Col di Lana and the preparation of the new hydraulic node in the Caniga village. The works will be carried out simultaneously to concentrate the interruptions in a single day.
Abbanoa technicians have prepared a closure plan to limit interruptions as much as possible.
Sassari.
- Closing of supply from 7am to midnight on Tuesday in the neighborhoods supplied exclusively by Truncu Reale via the Monte Oro reservoir and pipeline: Historic Centre, lower Monte Rosello, Sacred Heart, Sweet Milk, Santa Maria di Pisa, Porcelain and Piandanna.
- No interruptions in the powered neighborhoods from the Monte Fiocca gravity pipeline: Li Punti, San Giovanni, Sant’Orsola, Ottava, San Quirico, San Giorgio and Predda Niedda. TO La Landrigga and Pallets, powered by the Nurra pipeline, the supply will be guaranteed by the stocks accumulated in the tanks.
- Closing of supply in the Caniga district from 8.30am to 6pm on Tuesday.
- Tuesday closure of supply from 8pm to 7am the following morning in the areas served by the Via Milano reservoir, fed by the Bidighinzu water purification plant with integration from Truncu Reale via the Ponte Rosello lifting: Lu Fangazzu, San Paolo, San Giuseppe, Monserrato, Tingari, Monte Rosello medio, Sassari 2, Badde Pedrosa, Monte Furru Valle Gardona and Gioscari.
- Tuesday closure of supply from 8pm to 7am the following morning in the areas supplied by the Serra Secca Quota 300 reservoir, only partially supplied by Truncu Reale: Moon and Sun, Prunizzedda and Monte Rosello Alto and Carbonazzi.
Based on the possibility of increasing the integration of the supply from the Bidinighinzu aqueduct, it will be possible to increase the hours of supply.
Porto Torres.
- City centre: water supply will be guaranteed by the stocks accumulated in the tanks and by the integration guaranteed by the local wells of Li Pidriazzi until 2pm. Subsequently, drops in pressure and temporary interruptions could occur until midnight.
- Serra Li Pozzi: closure of supply from 7am to midnight on Tuesday.
Stintino.
- City centre: water supply will be guaranteed by the stocks accumulated in the tanks until 4pm. Subsequently, there may be drops in pressure and temporary interruptions until midnight.
- Pozzo San Nicola and Agro: water supply will be guaranteed by the stocks accumulated in the tanks until 12. Afterwards there may be drops in pressure and temporary interruptions until midnight.
All necessary measures will be taken to limit disruptions. Any anomaly can be reported to the Abbanoa fault reporting service via the toll-free number 800.022.040 active 24 hours a day. Abbanoa reports that when supply is resumed the water may be temporarily cloudy due to the emptying and subsequent filling of the pipes.
