TREVISO – Rates of blocked waste. There will be no increases in recycling bills as part of the Priula consortiumwhich groups together 49 municipalities, served by the Contarina operational arm, from Roncade to Zenson up to Resana and Castelfranco, from Borso up to Susegana and Maserada, for a total of over 555 thousand inhabitants. The decision was taken unanimously byassembly in the last basin council, which was held in recent days. There will be no increases in the next two years: it has been decided to renounce the tariff adjustment provided for by the Arera standards which consists of 2 million euros for 2024 and then another 4 million in 2025.

The mayors’ assembly approved the tariffs for the next two years for the management of urban waste and other environmental care services for the territory, including: street sweeping, cleaning of green areas, squares and historic centres, separate waste collection in public spaces through the bins and cleaning the drains. Services which are performed by Contarinathe operational arm of Priula.

«All the mayors have decided to reduce tariffs. For the next two years there will be no increases for the environmental services carried out in our 49 Municipalities, not even the ISTAT adjustment – declared satisfied Giuliano Pavanetto President of the Priula Basin – Reductions have been approved in particular for large families and the tariffs for basic services will also decrease in the next two years. A choice approved unanimously by all those present. Once again, Priula and the participating municipalities demonstrate that they know how to work as a team, responding promptly to the requests expressed by the territory”.

The same assembly of mayors also approved the financial economic plan. «It was chosen to waive the tariff adjustment required by Arera standards; this will lead to a reduction of over 2 million euros for 2024 and 4 million for 2025 – specifies President Giuliano Pavanetto – A decision made possible thanks to the organizational and management solutions implemented by Priula and the manager Contarina, to contain expenses and optimize available resources. After the enormous efforts to deal with the explosion in energy and fuel costs suffered in 2022-2023, we can now intervene in favor of users”.
