School of Inspectors and Superintendents of the Financial Police, the Cadet Marshals of the 95th Corso Argentera III were protagonists this morning of the oath of allegiance to the Republic ceremony, in the presence of the Honorable Lucia Albano.
This morning, in the evocative setting of the Piazza d’Armi della School of Inspectors and Superintendents of the Guardia di Finanza, the solemn ceremony was held Oath of the 1218 Cadet Marshals attending the 95th “Argentera III” course.
The event took place in the presence of the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Hon. Lucia Albano, of the General Inspector for Educational Institutes of the Guardia di Finanza, General of the Army Corps Bruno Buratti, and numerous civil, military and religious authorities.
The ceremony began with the speech of the Commander of the Institute, Gen. D. Gabriele Failla, who, addressing his family members, more than five thousand present in the parade ground, guaranteed “that the commitment of the school and my personal one is precisely to complete their maturation to make them become skilled guard inspectors of finance and good citizens”. Before pronouncing the oath formula, the Commander concluded his speech with an exhortation to the students: “Even after school, never stop in your growth: look ahead! Those who only see obstacles do blocks, but those who see the path clearly will continue to proceed: you are not here to fear the future, you are here to shape it!”
Then intervened General Buratti who defined the students, “centre of gravity of the School’s activity”. “All revolves around this fundamental resource for the future of the Corps” – continued the Inspector for Educational Institutes – “The students are destined to become professionals in uniform. They will have to prove they are in able to live their role as protagonists within an organization that is now widely recognized as a exemplary model of economic and financial police. I expect an approach to life from you yellow flames who are proactive, mature and responsible. You, with your choice to serve Italy in arms, have decided to be protagonists of our society and of our and your future, at the service of Italy and its citizens“. The students, the fulcrum of the School and of today’s event, were the direct recipients of the speech of the Hon. Undersecretary. Lucia Albano: “The State is counting on you, with your talent and your skills
you will acquire in this prestigious School, irreplaceable allies for the defense of the common good which is the premise and ultimate goal of any form of national belonging: the responsible citizenship. A citizenship faithful to respecting the rules, supportive, willing to put their skills at the service of public thing”.
The final honors and the parade of the Regiment – in total 1700 students and instructors deployed – closed the solemn ceremony, with which the marshal students of the 95th “Argentera III” course thus fully entered the Fiamme Gialle family.
