In a statement released by the ASM press office it is underlined that «the initiative offers families the possibility of free access to specialist medical checks for their children. In fact, on Monday 6 May, from 9am to 1pm – by booking on 0835.253332 – it will be possible to access the free pediatric visits (7-16 years) organized by the Matera health authority for up to a maximum of ten patients. World Asthma Day is promoted by Global Initiative for Asthma (Gina) which, for this year, has chosen as its slogan ‘Asthma Education Empowers’ to highlight the importance of managing the disease effectively and recognizing when it is necessary to seek medical assistance”
