The municipal administration of Reggio Calabria continues to propose initiatives for the Reggio Calabria Spring. The main objective is to encourage the cultural and social growth of the municipal territory, with the involvement of trade associations, cultural and recreational associations.
The events are the result of synergistic work between the economic development, culture, tourism, environment and municipal police and traffic sectors. In this colorful context, part of the events will embrace the Villa Comunale Umberto I where, moreover, important maintenance works are underway which will make the Reggio botanical garden par excellence an even more pleasant and family-friendly place.
The external terraces of the Villa Comunale have been enriched with new plants, coloring the spaces overlooking the seafront, to celebrate the month of May in bloom.
From a technical point of view, however, these days the workers are assembling the fence around the pond. And in the meantime, the maintenance activities that have made the villa a green lung for the whole city continue, awaiting the new project which will involve the city’s green lung from next September 2024.
