Municipal officer sentenced to Acerra: he would have tampered, in March 2022, with a complaint against a motorist for violation of the CDS. In practice, the municipal agent, after receiving the input, would have entered the operations room and, by accessing the Piemme IT platform of the Command, would have changed the complaint made in the previous days by his own colleagues. And in fact all it took was one click and the fine “failure to inspect the vehicle” it turned into “parking in a prohibited area with removal”. And so, with the power of magic, the fine passed from 121.10 to 42.00 euros.
The news reached Dr. Alessandro Cannavacciuolo, an activist from the metropolitan area of Naples, who after having carried out the necessary checks, reported everything to the local state police station in Acerra.
The State Police, after the necessary investigations, forwarded the crime information to the competent prosecutor’s office at the Nola court.
Well, it is news in recent hours that the Nola court has sentenced the municipal agent to 6 months in prison with a suspended sentence for having falsified a complaint report for violation of the CDS.
The Administration did not take part in civil proceedings in order to protect the image of the city of Acerra.
