Sunday 5 May is the World Hygiene Day of hands promoted toWorld Health Organization (WHO) to avoid the transmission of potentially or certainly pathogenic germs and prevent healthcare-related infections.
The constant commitment to correct hand hygiene of our professionals, citizens and voluntary organizations aims to guarantee effective and safe healthcare, as an indication of respect and safety towards those who need healthcare.
L’Fatebenefratelli Hospital Sacred Heart of Jesus of Benevento, recognizing the importance of the theme, participates in World Hand Hygiene Day 2024 through an awareness campaign promoted and organized by the Superior between Lorenzo Antonio Gamos and the Health Directorate through brochures and posters that will be present in the departments, in areas dedicated to assistance and in common areas.
Furthermore, on Sunday 5 May 2024, and for the following days, the employee canteen trays will be set with special placemats to remind healthcare workers of the importance of correct hand hygiene.
