Today, Friday 3 May, the delivery ceremony of a RAD-G pulse oximeter donated to the Emergency Medicine of the Faenza hospital by the Faenza Valli Faentine Lions Club took place.

The donated device, compared to common pulse oximeters, offers numerous advantages and is particularly useful for measuring oxygen saturation in infants or patients with tremor. Furthermore, in addition to the simple measurement of pulse oximetry, this device provides advanced perfusion and hemodynamic parameters in a totally non-invasive way, which can help in assessing the hemodynamic and volume status of critically ill patients and therefore in the optimal management of fluid therapy.

Present at the ceremony were Dr. Davide Tellarini, Director of the Faenza Hospital, Dr. Gabriele Farina, Director of the Emergency Department and Emergency Medicine of Faenza, Dr. Francesco Savelli, Clinical Contact for critical patients, Dr. .ssa Mirna Verlicchi representing Dr. Noemi Santoro and all the nursing staff of the department, Dr. Omar Mohamud Giama, President of the Faenza Valli Faentine Lions Club, and the Mayor of Faenza.

Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Giama and all the members of the Club on behalf of all the healthcare staff of the Emergency Medicine of Faenza.
