Demonstrations and events on May 1st brought a greater increase in tourists to Bolzano and the other South Tyrolean municipalities. To maintain public order and safety, from last Friday until yesterday morning numerous services were made operational arrangedwith Ordinance, by the Police Commissioner of the Province of Bolzano, Paolo Sartori. All the police forces were present, in accordance with what was indicated by the Department of Public Security of the Ministry of the Interior and with what was agreed by the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, also and above all with a view to preventing any destabilizing initiatives in capable of endangering the safety of citizens and those who have decided to spend a few days of holiday in the area. Demonstrations and events took place in a climate of tranquility and without any disturbance to public order.

The summary of the vast operation in Bolzano reports that three buses and nine public businesses were checked, the inspection of all the main trains departing and arriving at Bolzano station, seven road control posts, 83 vehicles stopped and 223 people checked.

After the checks and investigative investigations carried out on the 79 subjects with criminal records, identified during the checks, the commissioner has issued 6 Mandatory Street Sheets against as many subjects burdened by precedents of various kinds.
