Everything is ready for the third and final performance of live Opera at the Stignani Theater by Italian Opera Florence: after The Barber of Seville And The Italian in Algiers by Rossini, Don Giovanni will be performed on Friday 10 May at 8.30pm, a playful drama in two acts by Mozart with a libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte.
Don Giovanni is much more than a character: he is the immortal myth of the seducer par excellence, the embodiment of infinite desire. All the characters revolve around him like a vortex, accompanied by some of the most beautiful and powerful music that has ever been written.
The expected duration is three hours, interval included. During the interval the pianist Pietro Fresa – a student of the Fondazione Accademia Internazionale di Imola “Incontri con il Maestro” – will perform Mozart’s concert for piano and orchestra “K 466 in D minor”.
Tickets can already be purchased in advance on Vivaticket, online and in authorized sales points. Or directly at the ticket office of the Stignani Theater on the day of the show, from 10.30am to 1.30pm and from 4pm to 8.30pm.
