Mafia: Gela(CL), assets confiscated from Emmanuello clan boss – News

Goods worth around 500 thousand euros were confiscated by the police from a 55-year-old boss, a leading member of the Emmanuello clan from Gela. The assets were subjected to seizure in December 2019, by decree of the Prevention Measures Section of the court, on the proposal of the police commissioner of the province of Caltanissetta. Now the Anti-Crime Police Division of the Caltanissetta police headquarters has executed the decree of confiscation of assets which became irrevocable after the ruling of the Court of Cassation.

These are 27 assets including an individual sheep and goat breeding business and the entire business complex, also made up of registered movable assets and numerous agricultural vehicles; 19 real estate, of which 4 buildings and 15 land; 3 registered movable property, a car, a truck, a motorbike and 4 financial reports, 2 savings deposits and two current accounts. The man, under special surveillance with obligation to stay in the municipality of residence, was sentenced to 8 years for mafia-type association with a sentence of the Caltanissetta court in 2010, confirmed by the Court of Appeal in 2012 and which became irrevocable in 2013.
