Come back the pedestrian area on Corso Mazzini in Catanzaro. Today and tomorrow, on occasion of the start of the “May of Art” cultural festival, the city center will close vehicle traffic to welcome those who want to spend the afternoon along the streets of the centre.

Today, Friday 3 May, the pedestrian area will be established from 4.00 pm to 9.30 pm. The funicular will be open until midnight.

As regards tomorrow, Saturday 4 May, vehicular traffic will be inhibited from Piazza Garibaldi (Church of San Giovanni) to Piazza Cavour (Police Headquarters) from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. To reach the historic center, the funicular will follow the usual timetable (until 9.00 pm) and a shuttle service from the Musofalo car park will be guaranteed.

Vehicles carrying disabled people, with a valid disabled permit, will be allowed to reach the parking area in Piazza Prefettura along Via Spasari;

Crossing Corso Mazzini will be permitted: from via Case Arse to via Discesa Poerio and from via Jannoni to Via Menniti Ippolito (Duomo).
