Come back the pedestrian area on Corso Mazzini in Catanzaro. Today and tomorrow, on occasion of the start of the “May of Art” cultural festival, the city center will close vehicle traffic to welcome those who want to spend the afternoon along the streets of the centre.
Today, Friday 3 May, the pedestrian area will be established from 4.00 pm to 9.30 pm. The funicular will be open until midnight.
As regards tomorrow, Saturday 4 May, vehicular traffic will be inhibited from Piazza Garibaldi (Church of San Giovanni) to Piazza Cavour (Police Headquarters) from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. To reach the historic center, the funicular will follow the usual timetable (until 9.00 pm) and a shuttle service from the Musofalo car park will be guaranteed.

De Nobili” ) – Gala Lirico Puccini – in collaboration with Adol (curated by the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory of Music) – performance Frammenti (Fabric Embroidery) by Eva Fruci – Academy of Fine Arts of Catanzaro;
2) contemporary block: performance of famous paintings accompanied by live music from the contemporary historical period by the “G. De Nobili” – String Ensemble curated by the Tchaikovsky State Conservatory of Music – performance Frammenti (Fabric Embroidery) by Eva Fruci – Academy of Fine Arts of Catanzaro;

- 1) Workshop “Leave us a saying..” which will be transformed into a poster (curated by the “G. De Nobili” Institute of Higher Education) with a Tchaikosky Trio performance and a performance by the Academy of Fine Arts of Catanzaro;

from 4.00 pm to 9.30 pm establishment of Pedestrian Area in the stretch between the intersection with via Jannoni (Banco di Napoli) and piazza Cavour (Police Headquarters); Vehicle traffic from via Jannoni and Corso Mazzini will be diverted to via Menniti Ippolito.
SATURDAY 4 MAY
Parking ban with removal zone on both sides on Corso Mazzini between Piazza G. Garibaldi (San Giovanni) and Piazza Cavour from 4.30 pm to 8.30 pm on Saturday 4 May 2024;
Establishment of a pedestrian area in the stretch of Corso Mazzini between Piazza G. Garibaldi (Church of San Giovanni) and Piazza Cavour, from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm on Saturday 4 May 2024;
Vehicles carrying disabled people, with a valid disabled permit, will be allowed to reach the parking area in Piazza Prefettura along Via Spasari;
Crossing Corso Mazzini will be permitted: from via Case Arse to via Discesa Poerio and from via Jannoni to Via Menniti Ippolito (Duomo).
