Yesterday evening in Agrigento a tragic accident led to the death of Mario Mondello, a 64 year old man from Agrigento. Mondello died after falling into an artificial lake together with his tractor, which overturned while he was plowing land in the Burraiti district. The accident occurred on May 1st, Labor Day. The man’s body was recovered around 3 am by the timely interventions of the Fire Brigade, with the support of 118 personnel. The Police intervened at the scene of the accident and started an investigation to clarify the circumstances that led to this tragic event.
