The book “Quale Europa” will be presented on Saturday 4 May at 5pm at the Tarantola bookshop in Udine. The Initiative is promoted by the Inequalities and Diversity Forum with the support of Legambiente FVG and the FVG Third Sector Forum. Fabrizio Barca, economist, former Minister for Territorial Cohesion and Vittorio Cogliati Dezza, former national President of Legambiente will be present as speakers. Moderated by Marco Pacini, journalist and writer. The social issue and the climate crisis at the center of the debate, from a European perspective.

Europe is preparing very important elections, but there is still too little discussion about what the Union has done and what it could do. To contribute to a constructive and informed debate, the Inequality and Diversity Forum presents its new volume “Which Europe. Understanding, discussing, choosing”.

The objective is twofold: on the one hand, to inform those who vote and motivate those who perceive Europe as a useless or harmful entity; on the other, to provide a yardstick for evaluating programmes, parties, candidates and the policies that the European Union will implement in the next legislature, also supporting monitoring by active citizenship organisations.

The meeting, open to the public, offers a unique opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities of the European Union, discuss concrete proposals for a better future, acquire the tools for an informed vote in the European elections.

The Inequality and Diversity Forum is a research and proposal organization that fights for a more just and supportive society. It promotes critical reflection and discussion on crucial issues such as inequality, sustainability, democracy and human rights.
