The next weekend will be characterized mainly by stable weather across the island, with temperatures rising.
In the next few hours, the Atlantic trough that brought some rain to our island will definitively shift to the east, allowing high pressure to rise over the central-western Mediterranean.
On the day of Friday we will still be affected by cooler currents, with temperatures a few degrees below the seasonal average, but from Saturday an increase in temperatures is expected with values close to the averages.
FRIDAY 3 May
In the morning, mostly cloudy skies or veiled by high clouds over much of the island. In the afternoon some more compact accumulations in the central-southern areas.
Temperatures stationary in the maximum values, slightly decreasing in the minimums, a few degrees below the seasonal averages.
Winds mistral of moderate intensity.
Mari very choppy, the Ionian near the coast is little choppy.
SATURDAY 4 May
From the morning and for the rest of the day the sky was mostly partly cloudy or veiled by high clouds across the entire island. A few more harmless clouds over the Messina area.
Temperatures increasing in both maximum and minimum values, in line with seasonal averages.
Winds mistral of weak intensity.
Mari moved.
SUNDAY 5 May
A day entirely characterized by clear or slightly cloudy skies in all sectors.
Temperatures stationary or slightly increasing in both maximum and minimum values.
Winds of weak intensity of variable direction.
Mari little moved
