POZZUOLI – Busy night in Pozzuoli. A couple of young people open a live broadcast on Tik Tok and make serious accusations against the staff of the emergency room of the Santa Maria delle Grazie hospital. The two young people claim to have been beaten by the nurses of the facility in the night between Tuesday and yesterday and show the cameras the signs of a torn venous access. What happened is reported by the association “Nessuno Tocchi Ippocrate” which says that already on Tuesday night the two young people had activated the 118 service at 3.30 am while they were in a hotel room in Licola. The reason for the phone call was “stomach ache and dizziness following the intake of seafood”. The ambulance doctor offered them a check-up at the hospital under green code, but the two refused.
THE VIOLENCES – The following night, however, the couple went to the emergency room for the same reason and had an argument with the staff about the waiting times. From words we moved on to facts… and then to live broadcasts on social media. The doctors asked them to turn off their cell phones given the presence of other patients on site. Hence the complaint from the couple who claims to have instead received an assault from the triage nurses. At the same time, healthcare personnel say they have suffered violence. The carabinieri from the mobile radio department and the Licola station, who arrived on site, acquired images from the video surveillance system to better reconstruct what happened. In the meantime, everyone accuses (and denounces) everyone.
