Run over and killed in Carpaneto last weekend, the Piacenza police seized a van. It could be the vehicle that hit Michele Dallavalle, 57 years old, found on the ground on the evening of April 27th by Carpaneto Public Assistance volunteers and immediately taken to hospital, where unfortunately he died from his injuries. The driver of the van has been tracked down and is being investigated for vehicular homicide and hit-and-run. The Piacenza Prosecutor’s Office traced the suspected person thanks to the images of the cameras and the cell phone records in the area where the accident occurred.
To trace the dynamics of what happened – in fact the driver may not have noticed Dallavalle – investigations will be carried out on the van, conducted by the Carabinieri’s specialists, with the collaboration of the Parma Ris carabinieri. The Piacenza Prosecutor’s Office, which is investigating road homicide, would have traced the suspect to the person thanks to the images of the cameras and the cell phone records in the area where the accident occurred.
