33-year-old foreigner arrested in Foligno for drug dealing

33 year old arrested – In Foligno, an operation of control of the territory led to the arrest of a 33-year-old man of Tunisian origins, accused of dealing drugs. The intervention was conducted by the Operations Section of the Carabinieri Company of Foligno, which during patrolling in the parking area of ​​the cemetery located in via Flaminia Vecchia, noticed the suspect demonstrating behavior considered alarming.

Deciding to go into detail, the military proceeded with a personal search of the man, during which they discovered and seized two wraps containing heroin with a total weight of 1.2 grams, and four wraps of cocaine with a total weight of 1.5 grams. He was also found in possession of 218 euros in cash, a sum that investigators believe to be the proceeds of drug dealing.

Following the discovery, the man was immediately arrested and detained on suspicion of drug dealing. The following day, the Spoleto Court validated the arrest and, during the hearing before the Judge for Preliminary Investigations, the individual was sentenced to five months and twenty days of imprisonment, in addition to the payment of a fine of 600 euros.

The material and narcotic substances found were seized, consolidating the outcome of the Carabinieri operation. This episode reinforces the image of an action constant and decisive action by the police in the fight against illegal drug trafficking, highlighting the importance of routine checks to maintain public safety and order. The arrest not only helps to remove harmful substances from circulation but also serves as a deterrent to other potential offenders in and around the Foligno area.
