The spotlights are turned back on at the Italian-Argentine Theatre: programming plan delivered to Pallante

The work of the “Friends of the Italo Argentino theater” association of Agnone continues incessantly to offer the public a high-quality cultural programme. Despite the stop to activities due to maintenance and energy efficiency interventions of the structure, the group led by president Carmine Carosella has completed the drafting of the programming plan in view of the reopening. The document was delivered to the president of the regional council Quintino Pallante on the occasion of his recent visit to Agnone.

The opening of an acting school, the restart of the theater season, film screenings. And then concerts, conferences, dialect reviews, masterclasses, book presentations. These are some of the proposals contained in the plan.

A rich prospect that spans across genres and aims to involve a broad audience by uniting different generations. The ultimate objective is to return Italian Argentine to the splendors of the past, enhancing its peculiarities.

“The meeting with President Pallante was positive – commented Carosella – We are sure that he will appreciate the activity plan and will continue to pay attention to such a historic and significant structure for our community”. Meanwhile, at Palazzo D’Aimmo, precisely on Pallante’s proposal, the amendment to regional law n.5 on the rules on cultural promotion was approved. With the amendment the Region undertakes to encourage “the development of theatrical activities” and to recognize “support measures for operators in the sector”.

Not just a planning commitment, that of the association is also an active commitment. “The theater doors are closed, but we are not standing still – added Carosella – We often meet to make improvements and work on small changes to the structure of the Italo Argentino. Precise and punctual work carried out by a cohesive and passionate team. We only want the best for our Agnone.”
