Cinisello Balsamo: The Salvatore Licitra Civic Music School turns 40!

Three hours of great live music in which students, former students and teachers of the school performed in front of audiences on special occasions Civic School of Music Salvatore Licitra.
As recalled by the very emotional Director, Prof. Andrea Romano, already a teacher at the same school since its opening, many of them have become professionals and have made music their profession. Others, however, still cultivate their passion through study.
To date, the school has over 400 students in various study courses:
from ensemble music, to individual courses on multiple instruments – with its different musical genres – up to singing courses.
Doing the honors, in addition to the aforementioned Director Andrea Romano, Daniela Maggi, councilor for culture and identity of the municipality of Cinisello Balsamo who recalled how central the activity of the Civic School is for the cultural growth of the city and for the education of young people. Together with her, Dr Laura Pelissetti, responsible for cultural policies, cultural heritage management and cultural events of the municipality of Cinisello Balsamo. The school headquarters, in fact, is spread across the entire northern area of ​​the magnificent city Villa Ghirlanda Silva for which, in these very days, the celebrations are taking place for the 50th year since its opening to the public.

In short, a truly exciting afternoon where you could really feel the passion for music and what this magnificent art can give to everyone’s heart and soul.
