Bologna, 2 May 2024 – The nightmare of splits returns to hit downtown businesses. This time the thieves ended up targeting Bashifu Chinese restaurant inside the Gallery 2 August, a few steps from the station. “This morning we were called – says the owner of the restaurant, Chen Zhen – and, once we arrived, we realized that the glass of the automatic door had been completely destroyed. They stole both the cash fund with 200 euros inside than a cell phone.”
The robbery, according to an initial reconstruction, was carried out tonight, around 5am. The owner has already filed a complaint with the police, who will now try to trace the identity of the criminals. Presumably, since the place doesn’t have camerasthe videos from the video surveillance devices present in the area will be analysed.
“We opened at the beginning of March – continues Zhen – and it is the first time we have suffered a theft. However, the area is not quiet, we don’t feel safe. There are often fights, episodes of dealing And petty crime”. The one at the Bashifu restaurant is only the latest of the many blows carried out in recent months. A problem to deal with which the Municipality, in recent weeks, has issued an ordinance with which the construction site area overlooking the streets will have to be closed to prevent criminals from stealing materials with which the shop windows can then be smashed or restaurants.
