VARESE – They sell latest model iPhones and Samsungs, but counterfeits. The two “sellers” who were carrying out the business in Via Piave were arrested and reported.
It happened on the afternoon of Monday 29 April, a state police patrolduring a territorial control service, received an anonymous report regarding two individuals who were selling counterfeit goods in Via Piave, near the city centre.
Fake smartphones
Local police officers identified the two subjects on site in question which, subjected to a search, were found in possession of two smartphones still packaged, probably counterfeitone Apple brand model Iphone 15 Pro Max and one Samsung brand model Galaxy S24 Ultra, as well as several banknotes of various denominations, probable proceeds of the criminal activity.
The “sellers” were identified and reported and the two were charged with the crime of introducing into the State and selling products with false signs in competition.
