The CEO of the Italian Railway Network, Gianpiero Strisciuglio, will be one of the protagonists of the fifth Internal Areas Forum which will be held at the “La Pace” Center on 6 and 7 May. The title is: “High speed: leaving, returning…maybe staying”. In the intense two days of discussion and proposals, administrators, institutions, schools and the business world will focus attention on the opportunities and risks of the new infrastructures linked to railway mobility and digital communication.

In addition to the CEO of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana, the Communication and Sustainability managers of Open Fiber, Fabio Melia and Giulia Ritondale, will speak at the two-day event, focusing on broadband and fiber optics in the most marginalized areas. The “South Working” project will be proposed for the Sannito-Irpinia areas.

In the testimonials section, guests Alessio Zollo (Digital innovation manager) and Jean Pierre El Kozeh (Cultural entrepreneur). Also expected are speeches by the director Antonello Carbone and the Italian ambassador to Zambia and Malawi Enrico de Agostini.

Reducing the rate of depopulation, encouraging self-propelled projects and pursuing a different culture of the territories, also in favor of the return of emigrants, is one of the central points of the Forum during which four projects will be presented, all produced by students, which launch the possible challenge , in the aftermath of the second Letter of the Bishops for the redemption of Southern Italy.
