Local health authority Romagna, vaccines: free access to tetanus

Being protected against tetanus is especially important cWith the arrival of summer when the desire to be outdoors grows and the risk of minor injuries increases even banal ones, such as the sting of a rose thorn, a scratch or a splinter in the foot, which can be the gateway to the spores of the bacterium that causes tetanus.

Vaccination is the most effective and safest way to prevent Tetanus.

Below are the locations and times of the open days in May 2024

  • Monday 13 May 2.00pm – 5.00pm

LUGO – at the Adult Vaccination Clinic in viale Masi, 20

  • Wednesday 22 May 08.30 – 12.30

FAENZA – at the Adult Vaccination Clinic in via Zaccagnini, 22

  • Thursday 9 May 08.30 – 12.30

Vaccination is free and the combined Diphtheria-Tetanus or Diphtheria-Tetanus-Pertussis vaccine will also be offered to protect against these diseases, as recommended by the national and regional Vaccination Plans.
